Take control of your memory with Sopheons 0.9
I have updated sopheons to 0.9 - now has a much more intuitive UI focused on memory. I have realised that it was becoming confusing with all the possibilities I was giving the user. Now lets build proper memories - BUT - the good thing is that I can recall them from codex (or any other tool) and use them to build my new background information for my project.
So if I have a number of shopping lists - and I want to have ideas of what to buy today I can ask chatgpt to make me a new list based on my history - these can be split by shop - type of food etc - can be linked to recipes (which I also have in my memory)
They can be most useful when I am coding a new project because it can help recall what I have been doing and what the point of the project is - what is the blue print etc - I just need to make it an habit to create notes - like writing a diary - to document what I do so can be helpful for later.
I know tha chatgpt has a similar function - BUT you don’t want to be constrained to a single vendor - you don’t want to always pay that subscription - there will be a time very soon when you probably want to run an LLM on your local laptop - which for most use cases will be good enough. In that case you will want to have YOUR memories - not rely on the ones chatGPT collected and curated for you.
